You just can't have a Christmas gathering without sweet pleasures. We've rounded up a few show-stopping summer desserts for you to make and indulge in.

Don't worry, this Christmas pudding does not require you to begin preparation weeks before like many other recipes. In fact, it can be made on Christmas Day itself! Don’t be fooled by the quick cooking time, this pud might be easy, but it’s also wonderfully impressive.

Traditionally made of a plain genoise sponge and chocolate buttercream, this Yule log adds a white Christmas vibe with lightly toasted Italian meringue. With combination of a flourless chocolate cake and rich chocolate ganache, this will be the perfect dessert for a festive celebration.

This millefeuille takes a shortcut with ready-made puff pastry sheets, and Adam Liaw says that it's "one of the easiest desserts anyone can make". With the summerly aroma of coconut and mango, this will be a great crowd-pleaser at any gathering during the warm summer season.

This gluten-free orange cake, served with pudding ice-cream, makes a perfect festive dessert. You can still enjoy the flavours of Christmas pudding but with minus the effort. You can even do this on Christmas morning! It's also a a great way to use up leftover Christmas pud.
