Your cuppa is about to get a whole lot more colourful and creative.
There’s been a rainbow food craze sweeping the online world; we’ve seen Now it's the coffee cup that's gone all colourful - take your pick between rainbow coffee or red velvet in a cup.

Mason Sailsbury works at the Sambalatte coffee shop in Las Vegas and has become an Instagram sensation from the photos and videos he shares of his colourful coffee creations. He has started posting them to his social media account ibrewcoffee, which now has more than 18,000 followers.
The barista began making colourful coffees for training purposes. Food dye is used in the milk to help train baristas so espresso isn't wasted.
The designs are created by putting food dye in steamed milk that is poured in a coffee cup. It means the barista must have a steady hand and focus on the lines that they create with the frothy milk. It’s really difficult to achieve, which is why it’s great for training.
Salisbury now sells rainbow coffees to customers in his café, mixing the food dye with espresso to make rainbow lattes.
Red velvet coffee
Another coffee upping the morning brew ante is the red velvet creation that has just been released at Sydney café, The Local Mbassy.
“It almost tastes like a warm marshmallow cupcake in liquid form!” The Local Mbassy Instagram account says.
The Red Velvet Latte is said to have red velvet pancake flavours with berry butter cream and popcorn notes. Not enough red velvet for you? You can enjoy the sweet brew with a red velvet cronut too.
