A National Remembrance Service for the victims of the Christchurch terrorist attack has taken place in New Zealand.
The ceremony marked two weeks since a far-right terrorist shot dead 50 innocent Muslim worshippers and injured many more, while they were partaking in Friday prayers.
All of the 50 victims were remembered at the Hagley Park service, with family and Muslim community members taking turns to say their names.
Delegates from around 60 countries were also in attendance, including Prime Minister Scott Morrison, opposition leader Bill Shorten and Governor-General Sir Peter Cosgrove.
New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern spoke passionately about the need to address the global issue of extremism.
She says those who do not embrace the values of love, unity and tolerance are not welcome in New Zealand.
