Bangladeshi actress Sadia Nabila makes her Bollywood debut

'Pareshaan Parinda' is a Bollywood movie about a triangle love story starring Bangladeshi expatriate Sadia Nabila. She talks to SBS Bangla about the experience and her career goals.

Canberra-based Sadia Nabila plays the role of the heroine in the movie 'Pareshaan Parinda', which was released on March 28 across several theatres in India.

"It's like a dream to me," Sadia told SBS Bangla. "I have had a few workshops to learn Hindi. Until now everyone has given positive reviews about the film."

Sadia says her passion for acting and interest in modeling began in her childhood and was encouraged by her family. In 2017 she was selected as first runner-up in the 'Miss India Worldwide' competition.

Sadia came from the Saidpur district of Bangladesh to Australia on an education visa in 2013.

She is currently working as a dance instructor at the Canberra Bollywood Dance School, although she has previously studied information technology.
