South Australian Bangladeshi Community Association, SABCA, has provided full-time jobs to 15 Bangladeshi expatriates in Adelaide. Most of those who were offered the jobs were looking for full-time positions to meet the conditions of Permanent Residency.

Nilufa and Jewel came to South Australia under visa subclass 489. According to the terms of the visa, they have to live in this state for two years after which they will get the opportunity to become permanent residents after getting a one-year full-time job experience.

"At first it was very frustrating for me, from where and how I will get a full-time job! After getting a part-time job offer, I used to worried how I will arrange one year's full-time job pay-slip?"
