30 years ago, thousands of South Sudanese unaccompanied minors escaped from Ethiopia, and many lives were lost. One of those boys who survived 1991 is Deng Bol Aruai, and he went back to Pinyodu Refugee Camp to visit and build a monument for those lost lives in the camp between 1987 and 91. Deng Bol Aruai is the chairman of Red Army Foundation, representing former unaccompanied minors known as lost boys of Sudan.
