'I can repeat that Australia picked us up and gave us a second chance'

Jerry Marek Anyuon is the founder of African Australian Family and Youth Foundation. Jerry said the primary aim of the foundation mission is to help mentor young Africans in Victoria. Jerry was interviewed on Sky News by Andrew Bolt, but some members accused him of his community branded him as backstabber for accepting the interview. Jerry was an interview yesterday on Friday on SBS Dinka.

Jerry said he wanted to help many young people to find ways to mainstream Australia where they can be mentored and supported.

"I thank Bolt for offering me the opportunity because we need to tell Australia that we are good people. We need to understand Australia that many people needed to help. But we need help. We need our youths and their families to be supported, and I saw myself as a voice.
