This is an important message for listeners in Victoria. With coronavirus increasing in Victoria, a number of areas have gone back into Stage 3 restrictions.


From Thursday 9th of July, these restricted areas are:

  • Banyule 
  • Hume 
  • Moreland
  • Bayside 
  • Kingston 
  • Mornington Peninsula (
  • Boroondara
  • Knox (NOX)
  • Nillumbik 
  • Brimbank 
  • Manningham 
  • Port Phillip  
  • Cardinia 
  • Maribyrnong 
  • Stonnington 
  • Casey 
  • Maroondah 
  • Whitehorse
  • Darebin 
  • Melbourne  
  • Whittlesea 
  • Frankston 
  • Melton
  • Wyndham
  • Glen Eira 
  • Monash 
  • Yarra 
  • Greater Dandenong 
  • Moonee Valley 
  • Yarra Ranges 
  • Hobsons Bay 
  • Mitchell Shire
 

If you live in these locations, there will again only be four reasons to leave your home:

  • Shopping for food and supplies
  • Care and caregiving
  • Exercise
  • Study or work – if you can’t do it from home.
The businesses in these restricted areas that have been able to reopen recently – such as beauty parlours, gyms, libraries and swimming pools – will again be closed. Cafes and restaurants will return to take-away and delivery only.

Restrictions will be in place until 11:59 on Wednesday 19 August 2020.
