Indian Australian family’s home ransacked in Melbourne

Raizadas said along with their AUDI car, a lot of their gold jewelry is missing.

Indian Australian couple Rakesh and Monica Raizada’s home in Melbourne was struck by intruders on Thursday who made away with their Audi car and expensive jewelry.

The couple who run a not-for profit organisation, Ramon Helps Inc. was away when their house was struck in broad daylight.

The CCTV camera revealed that the intruders first came to their house to check if someone was home. He then returns with two accomplices who broke open the door and enter their house.

Rakesh Raizada told that the job seemed professional.

“It seems to be a very professional job. I think they are used to doing such things.”

Their neighbours saw the intruders walk in however felt the couple had guests over. It was only after the Audi sped away they realized something was wrong.

When they saw the main door open, they alerted police and Raizadas.

The couple says a lot of their gold jewelry is missing.

“For those people, they might have got peanut values for those things but ofcourse for us, we have lost very dear memories,” Monica Raizada .

Mr. Raizada said, “These people are caught and judge releases them every second day to go and do it again. Pathetic!”
