Harnav Bir Singh is a household name among Punjabis when it comes to wedding photography.
In this interview with SBS Punjabi, Harnav shared a totally different aspect of his personality, his poetic world.
With deep love and understanding of his land and her people, Harnav writes on various subjects, ranging from religion, philosophy, romance to social issues faced by Punjabi diaspora in Indian and abroad.

Born and brought up in Punjab, Harnav did his schooling from Ludhiana and went to an engineering college. But he was always intrigued by visual arts and graphics design in particular.
Slowly his love for aesthetics took a definite shape when he started as amateur photographer and then ventured into professional photography.
In his 8 year long journey as a photo artist, Harnav has also done some music video projects as Director, while working for famous Punjabi artists such as Satinder Sartaj and Ranjit Bawa.
Harnav has also featured as a Rap artist in one of the videos he has done. He aspires to be a Film director and is currently working on a script.
Harnav is currently visiting Australia for directing a video for Punjabi singer Nimrat Khaira.
