Rahaf al-Dayer was killed in an Israeli airstrike that destroyed the upper floors of a commercial building in Gaza City, according to an AFP photographer.
The airstrike also caused damage to a nearby health ministry and health care clinic.
The young girl's father was later photographed mourning her death as he cradled her body at al-Shifa hospital on 17 May.

Yigal Yehoshua, 56, died earlier this week after being critically wounded when his car was pelted with rocks during a riot in the Israeli city of Lod.
Devastated family members came together to farewell Mr Yehoshua at a packed funeral on Tuesday.
No end in sight
Gaza medical officials said 215 Palestinians have been killed, including 61 children, and more than 1,400 wounded.
Israeli authorities said 12 people have been killed in Israel, including two children.
Israeli forces after a brief overnight lull during which the UN sent a small fuel convoy into the enclave, where it says 52,000 people are now displaced.

The current hostilities have been the most serious between the militant group and Israel in years, and in a departure from previous Gaza conflicts, have helped to fuel violence in Israeli cities between Jews and Arabs.
Nearly 450 buildings in the Gaza Strip have been destroyed or badly damaged, including six hospitals and nine primary care health centres, the UN humanitarian agency said.
Some 47,000 of the 52,000 displaced had fled to UN schools.
