Rihanna's new 'Savage x Fenty' lingerie line has debuted at New York Fashion Week, and her theme of diversity was at front and centre.

Despite launching her label in May, the fashion show was a chance to show off her new line and Rihanna's message of female empowerment was in full swing.

The show celebrated women of all shapes, sizes and races. Rihanna was also praised for including pregnant models in the show.

The Hadid sisters, Gigi and Bella, made an appearance during the show as well as former Victoria Secrets model Joan Smalls.

Rihanna was widely praised for her effort to include women of all shapes and sizes, which has been a theme of her brand.

The Fashion Spot in March 2017 reported only 0.43 per cent of casting across New York, London, Milan and Paris included plus-size models.
