Every game of the 2020-21 NBL season is LIVE, FREE and in HD via SBS On Demand, with select games also live on SBS VICELAND.

Sydney Kings v Brisbane Bullets

Saturday 17:30 AEDT tip-off - SBS Viceland and SBS On Demand

1. Bullets hitting the road

While the city of Brisbane deals with a COVID outbreak, the Bullets will hit the road – with this clash being the first of five straight games away from home.

They are characterising their current situation, including their upcoming series of road games, as “a good mental challenge.”

2. One to watch: Nathan Sobey

Sobey is averaging 30.5 points per game against the Kings so far this season, at over 50% shooting from the field.

Adelaide 36ers v Illawarra Hawks

Saturday 20:00 AEDT tip-off - SBS On Demand

3. Unlocking Brandon Paul

The 36ers need to find a way to unlock the high-scoring potential of mid-season recruit Brandon Paul.

The former NBA guard scored 45 points across his first two games but has scored a total of 14 points across his last two.

Adelaide coach Conner Henry, who still hasn’t inserted Paul into the starting line-up to this point, needs to find a way to get the import wing going.

4. One to watch: Josh Giddey

NBA Draft prospect Josh Giddey (ankle) is likely to make his return from injury in this one, as the 36ers try to snap a five-game losing streak.

He had 10pts, 7rebs, 7ast last time he played the Kings but he also had 6 turnovers.

SEM Phoenix v NZ Breakers

Sunday 15:00 AEDT tip-off - SBS Viceland and SBS On Demand

5. New Breakers

The Breakers will welcome new recruits Will McDowell-White and Levi Randolph to their squad for this game.

McDowell-White is the son of three-time AFL premiership player Darryl White. He is a member of Australia Tokyo Olympic Squad and most recently played for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the NBA G-League.

Randolph is a 28-year-old American swingman who is a former two-way player for the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers.

Randolph has international experience from playing in Europe and spent the past few years playing mainly in the NBA G League.

6. One to watch: Colton Iverson

NZ’s import centre is coming off an inspirational performance where he put up a 10-point, 20-rebound double-double on a badly swollen ankle.

Cairns Taipans v Melbourne United

Sunday 17:00 AEDT tip-off - SBS Viceland and SBS On Demand

7. Easter rematch

The Taipans host a special ‘Easter Sunday’ return clash against United, after the two teams go head-to-head in Melbourne on Good Friday.

8. Home sweet home

The Taipans have had a rough season but will take confidence into this one having won their past two home games.

The Snakes defeated NZ at the Cairns Pop-Up Arena just prior to the NBL Cup and then finally returned home last week, after ten straight games on the road, to beat Adelaide.
