SBS Cycling Central and will be showing a daily highlights package from the 2021 Giro d'Italia Donne, with the one-hour highlights also on SBS from 3:30pm weekends or 4pm weekdays from July 3-12.
Part of the second tier ProSeries, the Giro d’Italia Donne - commonly known as the Giro Rosa - will feature 10 stages, including summit finishes at Prato Nevoso and Monte Matajur during the Women’s WorldTour event.
Cycling fans can expect to see several world-class riders competing for both stage glory and the coveted maglia rosa, with SBS and delivering daily stage highlights from Saturday, July 3.
Anna van der Breggen of SD Worx will be on hand to defend her title in the lead-up to the Tokyo Olympics, in what will likely be her last before calling time on her career.
Meanwhile, Australian Amanda Spratt (Team BikeExchange) will be back on the start line aiming to build on her third-placed finishes from 2018 and 2019.
The 33-year-old will have the support of Grace Brown and Ane Santesteban for the climbs and will fancy her chances against rivals Elisa Longo Borghini (Trek-Segafredo), Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig (FDJ Nouvelle-Aquitaine Futuroscope) and Mikayla Harvey (Canyon-SRAM).
