Watch all the action from the 2024 Giro d'Italia live and free on SBS VICELAND from May 4-26, with all the replays and highlights on , plus news, analysis and much more on the SBS Sport website.

A stellar line-up of general classification contenders headlines this year’s Italian Grand Tour with two-time Tour de France winner, Tadej Pogačar, joined by fellow Tour winner Geraint Thomas and Australian hopefuls Ben O'Connor, Jay Vine and Luke Plapp.

Former Giro and Vuelta winner Nairo Quintana, young sensation Cian Uijtdebroeks, Vuelta podium finisher Hugh Carthy, Tour podium finisher Romain Bardet, Vuelta podium finisher Rafal Majka, and entertainers Wout van Aert and Julian Alaphilippe will all look to bring the race to life over the roads of Italy.

We can't predict exactly how the racing action will develop, but if it's anything like the last few years, then expect it to come right down to the wire in the battle for the famous pink jersey!
There will be sprinters aplenty as well with Australians Sam Welsford and Caleb Ewan set to square off against Fabio Jakobsen, Jonathan Milan, Olav Kooij, Juan Sebastian Molano and Gerben Thijssen.

The route features two time trials and six summit finishes, with the Cima Coppi (highest point in the race) once again the Stelvio Pass with its 2758 m featuring as the Cima Coppi for the 11th time in the race’s history. At 2758 metres, it is the highest altitude ever reached by the Giro d’Italia.

All 21 stages of the Giro d'Italia will be live in full on SBS On Demand with television coverage on SBS VICELAND starting later each night. There will be hour-long highlights shows broadcast on SBS from 7am and 5pm on weekdays, 7am and 4.30pm on weekends.

With catch-up replays as well as extended highlights and analysis videos via SBS On Demand throughout the three-week race, SBS is the place to be for all things Giro d'Italia.
