1. Fight for third
If South East Melbourne Phoenix win this game they will finish third and meet the Perth Wildcats in the first round of the finals. If they lose, the Phoenix will finish fourth and meet Melbourne United.
2. Anything is possible
The Sydney Kings are still a ‘mathematical’ chance of making the finals and their hopes rest on Brisbane pulling off a miracle win.
If the Bullets win by approximately 80 points, the Kings will make the finals instead of the Phoenix.
Fun fact: only one game in NBL history has been decided by 80+ points. Back in 1984 the Coburg Giants beat the Sydney Supersonics by 88 points (154-66). Benny Lewis was the game-leading scorer that night with 37pts.
3. Brisbane’s final game
The Bullets cannot make the finals which means this will be their final game of the NBL21 season.
It will also serve as the final game of Andrej Lemanis’ time as Brisbane head coach.
“I really want to enjoy it with this group," Lemanis said.
"It’s been a wonderful group all year… so I want to enjoy the next few days with this team and enjoy our last experience together on Tuesday night.”
4. Froling’s 100th NBL game
Tuesday's clash will also shape as the 100th domestic match for Harry Froling.
The 2019 NBL Rookie of the Year played 8 games with Townsville in 2015-16 before heading to college in the States.
The centre then played two seasons with the Adelaide 36ers before moving to Brisbane last off-season.
5. Player to watch
Keifer Sykes – The Phoenix star was unstoppable on Saturday night in New Zealand, where he poured in 29 points to lead his side past the Breakers by five.
