It's often a tough task to tell at a glance which teams are doing well at the Tour de France, there are 22 of them going around France, each with their own objectives and strengths.
So borrowing a tool from other sports, Cycling Central will run a Power Rankings during this Tour de France. It's a quick guide from stage to stage of which teams are excelling and which are unlucky or faring poorly.
1. Team Sky (no change)
A top performance from Geraint Thomas, Chris Froome and Michael Kwiatkowski puts a nice little accent on the 2018 Tour for Team Sky. A worthy win for Thomas as he was clearly the strongest rider over the three weeks, he might have even won this time trial if he had to.
Few could dispute that the British squad had the best array of talent at the Tour and used it to good effect during the racing.
Best Results: 2nd - Team Time Trial, 1st (Stages 11,12), 2nd (Stage 18), 3rd (Stages 17,20), Yellow Jersey - Geraint Thomas, 2nd (Stage 20), 3rd (Stage 11), 3rd GC - Chris Froome
2. Quick-Step Floors (no change)
Bob Jungels continued his good finish to the Tour with a strong ride to sixth on the time trial. He'll finish 11th overall, a fairly under the radar performance but nonetheless quite impressive given that the squad wasn't focused at all around supporting the Luxembourger.
Best Results: 1st (Stages 1,4), 2nd (Stage 7), 1 day in Yellow - Fernando Gaviria, 1st (Stage 10, 16), 2nd (Stage 14), KOM jersey - Julian Alaphilippe, 3rd (Stage 5) - Philippe Gilbert , 3rd (Stage 9) - Yves Lampaert, 11th GC - Bob Jungels, 3rd Team Time Trial.
3. BORA-hansgrohe (up one position)
BORA-hansgrohe are shifting around the rankings with LottoNL-Jumbo. It's hard to compare the two - they have such different performances as a squad - but at the end of the day, the tiebreaker is that BORA-hansgrohe will be standing on a podium in Paris while LottoNL-Jumbo will not.
Best Results: 1st (Stages 2,5,13), 2nd (Stages 1,4,8), 3rd (Stage 7), 1 day in Yellow, Green Jersey - Peter Sagan.
4. LottoNL-Jumbo (down one position)
A disappointing time trial from Primoz Roglic saw him drop off from his podium position. He would have needed to produce a very good performance to keep third overall, but he wasn't really close and finished a minute and 12 seconds behind stage winner Tom Dumoulin.
Steven Kruijswijk just had to hold off Mikel Landa to retain his fifth position overall, and despite it not being the best time trial that the Dutchman has ridden in his career, he managed that task handily.
Best Results: 1st (Stages 7+8) - Dylan Groenewegen, 1st (Stage 19), 4th GC - Primoz Roglic, 5th GC - Steven Kruijswijk
5. Team Sunweb (no change)
A lost skinsuit, a mercy call to the manufacturer that happened to be located only 45 kilometres away and the overcoming of tired legs saw Tom Dumoulin come away with a stage win in a Tour de France where he has been one of the most impressive protagonists.
Søren Kragh Andersen also had a ripper of a TT, coming in fifth on the day. It's been an impressive Tour from the young Dane, he will have moved up in the estimations of many observers of the sport.
Best Results: 1st (Stage 20), 2nd (Stages 11,12), 2nd GC - Tom Dumoulin
6. Movistar (no change)
A very poor day for Movistar saw both Mikel Landa and Nairo Quintana both lose positions on GC after losing over three and four minutes respectively on the stage.
They did manage to keep their advantage in the teams classification, for what that's worth.
Best Results: 1st (Stage 17), 10th GC - Nairo Quintana, 3rd (Stage 6), 14th GC - Alejandro Valverde, 7th GC - Mikel Landa, 1st team standings.
7. Astana (no change)
Nothing to report from this stage, but they'll probably be looking to continue their attacking showing at the Tour with another breakaway attempt on the Champs-Élysées.
Best Result: 1st (Stage 14) - Omar Fraile, 1st (Stage 15) Magnus Cort Nielsen, 12th GC - Jakob Fuglsang
8. UAE Team Emirates (no change)
Dan Martin does get to take something away from this Tour de France, he picked up the Super Combativity award as the most attacking rider of the race. A just reward for a rider who wasn't afraid to take a chance or two to gain time and regularly animating the high mountain stages.
They'll be one of the few teams that will be keen for a sprint on the final stage, with Alexander Kristoff looking in some decent form.
Best Results: 1st (Stage 6), 2nd (Stage 17), 8th GC - Dan Martin, 2nd (Stage 13), 3rd (Stage 18) - Alexander Kristoff
9. Bahrain Merida (no change)
Not a stage for Bahrain Merida and unless they can do a better job of getting Sonny Colbrelli in position to sprint, it won't be a stage for them in Paris either.
Best Results: 2nd (Stages 2+5) - Sonny Colbrelli, 2nd (Stages 10+15) - Ion Izagirre, 2nd (Stage 16) - Gorka Izagirre
10. AG2R-La Mondiale (up two positions)
It wasn't a stellar time trial from Romain Bardet - he finished almost two minutes down on Dumoulin - but it was enough to leapfrog Landa into sixth overall.
Pierre Latour also did enough to secure the white jersey and ensure that the French will at least have someone to celebrate on the podium in Paris.
Best Results: 2nd (Stage 6), 14th GC, White Jersey - Pierre Latour, 6th GC - Romain Bardet
11. BMC (down one position)
Stefan Kung was expected to perform a little better today, maybe even challenge for the win against some tired general classification candidates, but noone can escape tiredness at this point of the Tour and Kung ended up in 12th on the day.
Best Results: 1st - Team Time Trial, 2nd (Stage 9), 8 days in Yellow Jersey - Greg van Avermaet
12. Trek-Segafredo (down one position)
Nothing doing on this stage, they'll be all-in for John Degenkolb tomorrow.
Best Results: 1st (Stage 9) - John Degenkolb, 3rd (Stage 14) - Jasper Stuyven, 3rd (Stage 15) Bauke Mollema, 5 days in KOM jersey - Tom Skuijns
13. Groupama- FDJ (no change)
It's all about the Champs-Élysées for Groupama-FDJ and Arnaud Demare. If they can win there, they can say that they're happy with their Tour. Anything else and they might have to rethink what their approach is for future seasons.
Best Result: 1st (Stage 18), 3rd (Stages 2,13) - Arnaud Demare
14. Katusha-Alpecin (no change)
A good time trial for Ilnur Zakarin. It didn't affect his overall position as he was unlikely to either rise or drop coming into the TT, but it was a good showing regardless.
Best Results: 3rd - Marcel Kittel - Stage 1, 10th GC Ilnur Zakarin
15. Mitchelton-Scott (no change)
Michael Hepburn weathered the mountains, narrowly avoided missing the time cut a number of times and then produced a very good TT performance to take tenth on the stage.
Even better news for the squad was Adam Yates' 11th place. Not so useful for this year, but it shows that he's got the ability to at least limit his losses to the top riders at the end of a three-week race.

16. Cofidis (no change)
Nothing doing for Cofidis here. Can they break a 10 year stage-win drought in Paris?

17. Direct Energie (no change)
No breakaways on TT stages and not a great deal for the French Pro Continental squad to do.
Best Result: 3rd (Stage 10) - Rein Taaramae
18. Lotto Soudal (no change)
Lotto Soudal are last on the teams classification. Normally that's not really a relevant statistic, but they are over two hours behind the next worst team, which goes to show just how far behind the front of the race they have been for much of the Tour.
If it wasn't for Thomas de Gendt spicing up the race by being present in some of the better breakaway attempts, they would be even lower on these rankings.
Best Result: 3rd - Andre Greipel - Stage 4
19. Wanty-Groupe Gobert (no change)
Guillame Martin continued to fall down the GC, this time after conceding four and a half minutes in the time trial.
They made a good show of things in the first week, but they maybe shouldn't have focused quite so much on Martin's GC result in the final two weeks.
Best Results: 3 days in KOM jersey - Dion Smith, 21st GC - Guillame Martin
20. Dimension Data (no change)
It will be interesting to see how Dimension Data go about taking a win in Paris. Do they go all-in for Edvald Boasson Hagen, or try their luck in the breakaway?

21. Fortuneo-Samsic (no change)
Warren Barguil ends up in 17th overall for the Tour. It didn't seem like any of the strategies for their star rider really worked at this year's race, and it will be back to the drawing board to see if they can replicate the Frenchman's 2017 showing.

22. EF Education First-Drapac (no change)
The team has taken an absolute battering, with the finish line in Paris now in sight for the American team.
Best Result: N/A
